qlinic at Weill Cornell Medicine invites Dr. Jonathan Avery to speak about LGBTQ substance abuse and the opioid epidemic. The event will be divided into two parts. The first part will involve a presentation detailing the problematic use of narcotic substances, specifically within the highly-at-risk LGBTQ community. The second part will involve naloxone training where attendees will gain a competent understanding on how to obtain and use naloxone to prevent opioid-related deaths.
