Dr. Henri Ford, an alumnus of the Travelers Summer Research Fellowship (T-SRF) program, was recently named Dean of the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Ford served as vice president and chief of surgery for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles for over 13 years. He has been instrumental in aiding Haiti with medical care, including training doctors, and planting the seeds for improved health care infrastructure.
